Just a Sip: Authenticity Online, Good Grief and A Little Play
Here's what's been on my mind lately
Welcome to Just a Sip! In this new series I’ll be sharing a bit more behind the scenes content. From what I’m eating to what I’m writing and reading, this series will help you get a better sense of what’s going on in my world and may even explore some of the topics I’m working on with my writing before they’re ever out in the public.
First, I want to start off with a quick poll. I’ve been thinking a lot about vulnerability and authenticity in our social media obsessed culture. I find that they can just be a bit more honest with the things that we have a harder time acknowledging. I’ve recently watched Dan Levy’s new project on Netflix titled Good Grief. The story follows Marc as he processes the loss of his husband alongside his longtime friends. It’s not overly dramatic, and yet, still offers up the opportunity to be in touch with those deeper feelings.
