I’ve had an emotional week. I’ve certainly been feeling the challenges of the world more and things have been feeling a bit heavy. Have you been feeling that way too by chance?
I’ve worked with clients in exploring some difficult topics this week and have personally felt the impact of Venus Conjunct Jupiter in Cancer as well. Yes, there have been tears, both of the painful and relieving kind. Plenty of them were my own. As a highly sensitive person, I find tears healing and crying cathartic. When in doubt, cry it out. But first, you have to accept things for what they are, right?
As such, this week’s stack offers up some helpful reflections on the theme of acceptance. It’s one of the core tenets that I relish and learned from my practice in mindfulness. So no matter what you’re dealing with or working on right now, I hope that this collection helps you feel seen and provides inspiration on how accepting your feelings can be a pathway to honoring what works best for you.

reflections on a moment in which an opportunity for reconnection helped her accept her grief and fatigue. The explorations of recognizing your own capacity, and treating that with compassion, resonated with me deeply.In her latest post

In her latest she highlights how important it is for us to accept that our ability to be a positive influence isn’t always in advertising our worth, but more so by showing up as we are and simply being ready to offer insight and support when asked.Finally, as I know so many of us are struggling to feel hopeful right now (self included), I’m sharing one of my posts that breaks down some research on a theory of how to find hope when that hope seems almost too radical. I hope it can help you rethink how you’re looking after yourself, and community, as we navigate turbulent political times.
